Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time position with emphasis on safety and customer service. Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY service, battery installations, wiper installs, inventory upkeep, and safe part deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic math proficiency (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
