Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in-store and over the phone, achieving personal and store sales targets, performing DIY services like battery and wiper

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math and ability to operate POS and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
