Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Palmyra, PA is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. You’ll use store systems, have basic automotive knowledge, and source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role involves inventory accuracy, basic maintenance, and DIY services like battery and wiper installations. Part-time or full-time opportunity with safety focus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts.
• Must be able to work various days, evenings, weekends.
• Ability to use store systems and POS.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking responsibilities.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
