Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY customers in Rockford, IL. The role emphasizes selling, basic automotive knowledge, and accurate parts sourcing, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs, and procedures.
• Ability to use basic math for measurements and transactions.
• Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installation.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and assist with inventory processes.
