Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Knox, Indiana, is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, drive sales, and deliver excellent service to customers in-store and by phone.

You will apply basic automotive knowledge to help customers find parts, perform simple DIY services, and maintain store standards. This role requires being able to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends, handle inventory tasks, and use store systems to look up parts, process sales, and deliver parts

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
