Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support our DIY customers with product knowledge, battery and wiper services, and accurate inventory handling. The role blends sales, service, and basic automotive parts expertise in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position is flexible for part-time or full-time work, requiring reliable customer communication, basic math, and weekend availability. A safety-conscious approach and ability to operate store systems are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and inventory.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and inventory standards and assist with cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and assist with stocking.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems and keep work area clean and organized.
