Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and sourcing from multiple channels including stores, hubs, and external suppliers. The position may be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities spanning sales, battery/wiper services, inventory upkeep, and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach overall sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards and manage inventory processes.
