Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Traverse City, MI seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service targets. The role leverages knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and sourcing from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

You will drive customer experiences, perform basic DIY services, manage inventory processes, and uphold store standards. Role can be part-time or full-time with fleet safety certification preferred.

Formación

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use store systems and POS.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; safe delivery of parts to customers as needed.
