Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Lawrence, MA is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service objectives. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform basic car battery installs and wiper replacements, and ensure inventory accuracy and clean store operations.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, friendly communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Prior retail sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends.
• Experience with inventory and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including stock put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
