Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales targets. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and strong customer service in a retail setting.

The position can be part time or full time, with duties spanning inventory management, parts lookup, and basic diagnostics. Day, evening, and weekend flexibility is needed to serve customers and maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to use inventory, POS and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
