Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is looking for a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base in our store. You will assist customers in person and by phone, perform basic automotive knowledge tasks, and help maintain inventory and store standards.

This role is suitable for part-time or full-time hours and may involve battery and wiper service. Candidates should have 2–3 years in retail sales, strong English communication, and the ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general stocking.
