Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assisting customers in-store and by phone. You’ll drive basic automotive parts knowledge, source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and manage inventory and POS usage.

The role is flexible: part-time or full-time, with a focus on safety and accurate parts handling. Prior sales experience in retail and good communication are valued for success.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for all units of measure.
• Able to work varied days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Hit personal sales goals and help store reach targets.
• Provide DIY services: battery install, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
