Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

The position can be part time or full time and may involve delivering parts to customers. Responsibilities include providing top-notch customer service, performing DIY services, maintaining inventory, and ensuring store standards.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.
Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
Able to use store inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
Hit personal sales targets and help the store reach its sales goals.
Provide DIY services such as battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
Maintain stock and store appearance; oversee inventory processes.
Assist with general stocking and back stock; ensure clean facilities and parking area.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
