Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY services to customers in‑store and over the phone.

The role focuses on achieving sales goals while maintaining high store standards and assisting with inventory and safety duties. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate inventory and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience fulfilling customer transactions
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
