Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY services, part identification, and store inventory management.

You will assist DIY customers in person and by phone, using store systems to locate parts and fulfill orders. The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales ability, ASE P2 certification preferred, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• ASE P2 certified or ASE-ready preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and manuals.
• Familiarity with store inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (opening/closing, safety, task assignment).
• Assist inventory processes and maintain store cleanliness.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; source from multiple channels.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment for DIY services as needed.
