Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling experiences to DIY customers in-store and by phone. The role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive systems, parts lookup, and advanced problem solving, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and ASE certification or readiness; valid driver's license is required. Flexible scheduling including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, parts catalogs, and maintenance manuals; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
