Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY projects. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts, strong customer service, and the ability to source from multiple channels including special orders.

You will handle battery installs, wiper services, inventory tasks, and maintain store standards. Prior automotive parts experience and ASE P2 certification or readiness highly preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• GAS2 selling experience to DIY customers is required.
• Strong ability to locate and source auto parts.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment for in-store DIY services.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
