Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Danbury, CT is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert automotive parts knowledge and high-quality DIY service support. The role involves advanced identification, sourcing, and assisting customers both in-store and by phone to meet sales goals.

You will operate inventory and store equipment, perform basic diagnostics, and contribute to a positive shopping experience through strong product knowledge and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.
• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience or related sales background.
• Able to use inventory and point-of-sale systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals while delivering service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance and support safety and shift operations as a key holder.
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
