Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions and expert parts knowledge in a full‑time role. You will handle in-store and phone sales, battery testing/installation, and parts sourcing with attention to customer service and store standards.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification preferred, and strong knowledge of store inventory and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must be fluent in English; Spanish a plus and helpful for customer service.
• Understand safety rules, parts catalogs, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to read documents and perform basic math for parts pricing.
• ASE certification preferred but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including opening/closing and safety.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
