Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts sales. The role requires strong parts and automotive system knowledge, plus excellent customer service and inventory skills. The candidate should be able to perform battery installations, testing, and other DIY services while maintaining store standards.

3-5 years in automotive parts with a valid driver's license is preferred. English communication is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs; write simple correspondence.
• Proven ability to locate and stock parts; operate inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities including task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
