Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert car part knowledge and advanced DIY service support. The role requires parts familiarity, strong customer service, and reliable operation of store systems.

You will assist with inventory, stocking, and selling while supporting store goals. Must have 3–5 years in auto parts, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification is preferred. English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience; proven sales ability.
• ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Experience with inventory, store equipment and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and visits.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery testing and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: opening/closing duties and safety.
• Assist in inventory tasks: cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Keep store clean: floors, bathrooms, parking lot, etc.
• Stock parts and locate items efficiently for customers.
