Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, in-store and over the phone. The role requires sales success, parts identification, and strong customer interactions in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities include conducting DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean, safe store. ASE P2 certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Must have valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and safety and open/close duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
