Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time, professional sales role supports advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.

You will assist customers, perform batteries and wiper installations, and source parts from multiple channels to meet store goals. Requirements include 3–5 years in automotive parts, ASE certification preferred but not required, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Able to perform DIY services and assist customers.
• Familiar with store systems and parts lookup.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
