Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time role supports DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and installation services such as battery testing and wiper installs.

You will drive sales, deliver excellent service, and assist with inventory and store upkeep. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication, and the ability to read parts catalogs and use POS and parts lookup systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts and customer service.
• Familiarity with parts lookup systems and store inventory.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and visits.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing).
• Assist in store inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock).
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
