Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro in Golden, CO. This professional role supports advanced DIY services, with expert knowledge of store systems and parts lookup. You will assist customers, perform battery and wiper services, and contribute to inventory and store upkeep while meeting sales goals.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in automotive parts, be fluent in English, and hold a valid driver's license. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Read and interpret safety rules, parts catalogs, and manuals.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills for pricing and stock.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services like battery installs, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder duties: task assignment, safety, opening/closing.
• Assist inventory: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Ensure store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
