Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY services to customers in our retail locations.

The role focuses on high-quality customer service, achieving sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong parts lookup skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
