Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time role requires expert knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and DIY services to assist DIY customers both in-store and by phone.

Responsibilities include driving sales, handling parts sourcing, performing battery installations and other DIY services, and maintaining high customer service standards while supporting key holder duties and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety manuals.
• Strong knowledge of store inventory processes and repair services.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities including task assignment and safety duties.
• Assist in inventory processes such as cycle counts, back stock, and organization.
