Job Description

Title: Divisional HR Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Directs human resources strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; reviewing compensation strategies.
  2. Contributes to human resources organizational strategies by providing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing human resources objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  3. Leads human resources operational strategies by analyzing trends; preparing critical metrics; implementing strategies related to production, productivity, quality, customer service, safety, security, and health; leading system improvements.
  4. Oversees human resources financial strategies by anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions to minimize variances.
  5. Completes human resources special projects by identifying issues, researching priorities, coordinating requirements, expediting fulfillment, and evaluating milestones and options.
  6. Guides management in employee development and engagement; creates programs and surveys; develops learning plans and career paths.
  7. Provides HR advice, counsel, and decision support to management by analyzing information and applications.
  8. Develops and updates HR policies, procedures, and guidelines; enforces organizational values.
  9. Ensures legal compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and understands international legal requirements.
  10. Protects organizational information confidentiality.
  11. Enhances HR knowledge through reviewing publications, networking, benchmarking, and participating in professional societies.
  12. Supports organizational success by handling diverse requests and assisting others.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including labor relations management.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Experience in employee relations and coaching leaders.
  • Familiarity with HR systems like Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven change management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
