Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks an Associate Director of Gift Planning to support Division Directors, driving annual gift activity from the Phoenix area by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and deferred gifts.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Gift Planning, the ADGP will help implement Forecast and Marketing Plans, maintain donor records, collaborate with CPAs, CFPs, and attorneys, and travel for training and donor visits while upholding

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance, or related field.
Ability to travel for training, conferences, and donor visits.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accurate records.
Proficient in MS Office and willing to learn CRM/software.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Support all DGPs within their Division and assist with gift planning activities.
Build relationships with Corps Officers and staff in the area.
Work with donors to establish life-income plans and bequests.
Maintain annual stewardship for living bequest donors.
Maintain donor records and coordinate donor communications.
Visit donors, advisors, and Corps as directed by the DGP.
Collaborate with CPAs, CFPs, and Attornies to serve donors.
Support marketing plans and donor engagement activities.
