Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or both.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New York.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in pathology and laboratory medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
• Oversee anatomic and clinical pathology services, including laboratory operations, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain active clinical pathology practice.
• Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and NYU colleagues on academic and educational initiatives.
