What You Will Do
JOB SUMMARY: Manages and executes the Company’s sales growth strategies for the assigned division and supervises field sales representatives. Develops short and long-range plans and programs, pursues partnerships with well-aligned customers, deepens relationships with current customers, and maximizes retail partnerships. Directs the planning, organization, and direction of the sales function to maximize sales volume, drive profitable growth, and develop sales staff.
- Talent development and supervisory responsibilities: evaluate and develop team members, direct the work of Sales Reps, coach for executional excellence, model persuasive selling skills, and make personnel decisions with HR input.
- Retail partnerships: develop and maintain strong partnerships with retail customers; identify opportunities and influence retailers to support key strategies; leverage consumer and retailer insights.
- Retail execution and coaching: develop selling plans, demonstrate product knowledge, collaborate with Region resources, and manage quarterly/monthly cycles for key initiatives; deliver on retail execution objectives and KPIs.
- Retail coverage and store development: optimize time on a store-by-store basis, ensure merchandising fixtures/displays meet requirements, and maintain partnership agreements.
- Communication & insights: promote ITG Portal as the primary reimbursement/tracking method; share best practices; solicit and report customer and competitor insights to leadership; develop best practices across regions/divisions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years related sales experience.
- Experience driving sales performance in a team environment and in B2B account selling.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Verbal and written communication, attention to detail, problem analysis, time and task management, multitasking, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to deliver on KPIs and build strong customer relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 1+ years direct supervision/managerial experience.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Employee may need to relocate within the assignment boundary.
- Moderate physical effort; occasional lifting of 10-50 lbs; ability to bend, crouch, reach in retail environments.
- Walk/stand for extended periods; travel may be required; exposure to retail/wholesale environments.
- Prolonged use of computer equipment.
