Job summary

OXY, Inc. in Houston seeks a Division Order Analyst to support the accurate distribution of proceeds from oil and gas sales and to manage related ownership records.

You will analyze title documents and maintain ownership data across assigned regions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of orders. You will review well reports, become proficient in division order software, and collaborate with both operated and non-operated teams to meet deadlines while upholding company standards and best

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Quorum Land System and/or SAP preferred.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of basic land principles and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor well reports for assigned geographic areas.
• Become proficient in software systems and tools used by the Division Order team.
• Assist with operated and non-operated well setup.
• Perform basic ownership changes and updates in ownership systems.
• Prepare and process division orders, transfer orders, and related documents for disbursement of payments.
• Review title opinions and related supporting documentation.
• Analyze leases, contracts, division orders, deeds, assignments, probate documents, and title opinions.
• Assist in identifying title and ownership issues and recommend resolution steps.
• Support departmental special projects including acquisitions and divestitures.
• Collaborate with team members and complete assigned tasks.
• Learn and follow company standards and best practices of the Division Order team.
• Communicate effectively with owners, vendors, and stakeholders.
