Job summary

CCM is seeking a Senior Loan Processor to manage end-to-end residential loan processing from intake to closing. You will ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory guidelines while coordinating with underwriters, title companies, and borrowers to ensure timely closings.

The role requires 2–3 years of mortgage processing experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with LOS/AUS systems.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of loan processing experience with a mortgage banker or mortgage lending company, bank, or credit union.
• Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the mortgage industry, including federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans; commercial/refinance knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, LOS, and AUS; Encompass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all loan files and disclosure packages comply with company policies and state/federal guidelines.
• Collect and verify loan documentation and pass to underwriting for approval.
• Source and order third-party documentation for residential loans and assist underwriters by clearing conditions.
• Input loan file documentation into required software accurately.
• Serve as main contact for title companies, agents, borrowers, and underwriters to facilitate timely closings.
• Review applications for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and address concerns throughout the process.
• Coordinate with underwriters to resolve issues in the approval process.
• Maintain detailed records of all loan transactions and communications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all loan files, credit packages, and disclosure packages comply with company lending policies, as well as state and federal lending guidelines
• Collect and verify that all loan documentation, such as title insurance, loan applications, credit reports, appraisals, and income and asset declarations are accurate and passed to underwriting promptly for loan approval
• Source and order third party documentation needed for residential home loans, create and maintain the mortgage loan file, and assist underwriters by clearing conditions as requested
• Accurately input loan file documentation into necessary software programs
• Serve as the main point of contact for title companies, real estate agents, mortgage loan officer/ mortgage loan originator, borrowers, and mortgage underwriters to facilitate a timely loan closing
• Review loan applications for completeness and compliance with industry regulations
• Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the loan process
• Coordinate with underwriters to resolve any issues that may arise during the loan approval process
• Maintain detailed records of all loan transactions and communications in our system
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the loan processing team

Qualifications

• Several (2-3) years experience of loan processing experience with a mortgage banker or mortgage lending company, bank, or credit union is required
• Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management, and communication skills are needed
• Working knowledge of the mortgage industry, specifically federal and state regulatory requirements are essential
• Knowledge of current residential mortgage loans such as FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional is crucial -- Commercial loan and Refinance loan knowledge is an added asset
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, Loan Origination Software (LOS), and Automated Underwriting System (AUS) are assets
• Encompass experience preferred
• Bilingual Preferred - but not required
