Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group in Troy, OH is seeking a Division Human Resource Director to lead the HR function for the North American Warewash business. Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager, this role is a key member of the division leadership team with a proven track record in HR strategy development and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or Labor Relations
• 10+ years of HR experience
• Experience working with labor unions, including administering and negotiating collective bargaining agreements
• Experience defining and administering HR policies

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of focused strategies and initiatives that will increase our ability to attract and retain talent
• Lead grievance meetings/answer grievances
• Lead and negotiate one of the Warewash plant facility’s labor contract
• Support negotiations for the Canadian operation’s labor contract
• Lead talent review and succession planning processes
• Continuously improve onboarding and training programs
• Coach and provide consultation to managers and employees
• Provide guidance to Plant HR managers regarding terminations, disciplinary actions, employee concerns, legal matters, etc.
• Provide oversight for the annual division AAP
• Lead divisional workforce planning actions
• Provide sound advice as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team
• Ensure legal compliance with federal and state laws
