The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, a world-class, research-intensive pediatric health center affiliated with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, is seeking a talented physician leader to serve as Head of the Division of Hematology, Oncology, Neuro-Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation. Operating within the Department of Pediatrics, the division is one of the top training programs nationally, ranked 15th for pediatric cancer care. It includes 28 faculty, 10 fellows, and 39 advanced practice providers, offering comprehensive programs for children with blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, thalassemia, hemophilia, and thrombophilia. Lurie Children's cares for over 5,000 infants, children, and adolescents annually.
The new Head will join a well-established division at an exciting time, with the goal to enhance the division's reputation and further improve clinical care, teaching, research, and advocacy.
