Grain Processing Corporation seeks a Division Engineer to support Operations from its Washington, IN site. This role focuses on technical and engineering assistance, leading capital projects and process improvements within the division.

Candidates should have a technical engineering background, strong writing and communication skills, and experience managing multi-project workloads in a manufacturing setting. On-site position with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical, Electrical, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Advanced skill level in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is strongly desired.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Initiate process and equipment improvements to enhance safety, energy efficiency, environmental impact, and profitability.
• Manage capital and expense projects from conception to production with budgeting and purchasing.
• Develop maintenance and operator training documentation and qualification processes.
• Coordinate with Division Superintendent and other departments on changes or new installations.
• Oversee project planning, purchasing, installation, startup, and closeout of capital projects.
• Monitor downtime records and recommend improvements for troublesome equipment.
• Calculate material balances when processes change or directed by leadership.
• Own project scope from design to closure including documentation and training.
• Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
