University of Iowa Health Care's Department of Surgery is seeking a mid-to-senior level candidate for the Division Director of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery. This leadership role oversees a team of 10 surgeons with specialties in HPB, breast, melanoma, and sarcoma surgery, and regional therapies such as HIPEC.

Appointment is at Associate or Full Professor level on tenure or clinical tracks. The ideal candidate brings established research, strong leadership, and a record of excellence

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of accredited fellowship in Surgical Oncology or Breast Surgical Oncology.
• Board eligibility/certification from the American Board of Surgery.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to research and external funding.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, residents, and fellows.
• Advance academic excellence through teaching, research, and patient care.
