University of Virginia’s Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics invites applications for the Division Director. Board-certified or eligible in DBP, NDD, or General Academic Pediatrics with a strong leadership track is sought to guide clinical, education, and research missions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, program development, and mentorship across UVA Health, School of Medicine, and education partners to advance care for autism and related disabilities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), Neurodevelopmental Disability (NDD) or General Academic Pediatrics.
• Clinical and academic leadership experience with children with disabilities including autism.
• Proven track record in mentorship, research, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement vision and goals for NDBP in alignment with UVA Health.
• Lead clinical, educational, and research missions of the division.
• Oversee divisional faculty development, training, and quality improvement.
• Collaborate across departments and with education programs like Blue Ridge LEND.
