Job summary

The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics invites applications for the Division Director of the Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (NDBP). The successful candidate will lead the faculty across clinical and academic missions, align with UVA Health Children’s strategic plans, and advance research, education, and program development.

Board certification in DBP or NDD or General Academic Pediatrics is preferred, with Associate or Full Professor rank.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), Neurodevelopmental Disability (NDD), or General Academic Pediatrics.
• Rank of Associate or Full Professor
• MD/DO/PhD or equivalent degrees required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the faculty in all clinical and academic mission areas.
• Oversee divisional faculty, training, and research program development.
• Collaborate with UVA Health and allied programs to advance patient care and education.
• Support the division's multi-track autism and developmental disability programs.
