This role supports the Division of Institutions through data program management, reporting, and data quality to strengthen business operations and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collect, integrate, analyze, and report data from multiple sources to manage and maintain division data programs for business operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, queries, and data extracts using business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI and Excel.
- Create and maintain reports and extracts using additional technologies such as Smartsheet, databases, and related reporting tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs, interpret data, communicate findings, and provide recommendations using reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Monitor and ensure data quality by identifying discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, validating reports, and implementing process improvements for data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Lead and support data-related projects, including strategic initiatives, system implementations, legislative requests, SharePoint and Smartsheet administration, and development of technical documentation and job aids.
- Act as a subject matter expert in data management by providing technical guidance, supporting business process improvements, evaluating program performance, and recommending solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data analytics, program management, and program evaluation, including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data for decision-making.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; Canva experience is a plus.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, interpret policies and procedures, and develop or improve administrative processes.
- Knowledge of public or business administration principles; familiarity with personnel and basic accounting practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the area of assignment.

Compensation
- $57,983 - $101,470 per year
- Salary grade range: $57,983.00 - $101,470.00
