Job summary

PulteGroup Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Division Controller to lead accounting for the division. You will direct accounting staff, ensure GAAP compliance, and liaise with Shared Services to streamline financial processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public or corporate accounting, a Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, and a CPA is strongly preferred. This role reports to the Finance leadership and supports audit activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field).
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in public and/or corporate.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises accounting staff to ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Prepares and/or directs preparation of monthly financial reports, including budget vs. actual analyses.
• Prepares financial forecasts and coordinates with homebuilding functional leaders to review.
• Coordinates all internal and external audit requests.
• Facilitates workflow between National Shared Services and Division operations.
