Primary Recruiting Services in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an accounting professional to transition into a high-visibility operational finance role reporting to the Division Finance Leader. You will drive financial reporting, forecasting, business partnering, and operational decision support to fuel growth of a large regional business.

The ideal candidate has public accounting or corporate accounting experience and is ready for a leadership-focused environment, with opportunities to mentor staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Approximately 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and budgeting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close and reporting process while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

Compensation

• Highly Competitive Base Salary
• 15%-20% annual bonus target (historically the avg is 120% with some bonus years achieving 200%)
• Annual Performance Bonus
