Job summary

A leading academic institution in Albuquerque seeks an innovative Division Chief of Surgical Oncology to provide strategic leadership in clinical, educational, and research missions. This position requires a Medical Doctor, board certification in General Surgery, and completion of a Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an academic setting and demonstrate a commitment to both research and teaching. Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure in New Mexico.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Qualified for hire at Associate or Full Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the clinical, educational, and research missions.
• Support existing and expanding surgical oncology services.
• Oversee surgical oncology training for residents and fellows.
