The Department of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University Health and Riley Children’s Health are seeking a transformational leader that will serve as the next Chief for the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery and as a collaborative leader in guiding the Riley Children’s Pediatric Neuroscience Initiative in collaboration with IU Health, Indiana University School of Medicine, and the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute. The new leader must be accomplished in leading high-functioning teams in delivering cutting-edge, high quality surgical outcomes and in the advancement of established national best practices. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Candidate Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, and completion of an ACGME-accredited neurological residency and an ACPNF-accredited pediatric neurosurgery fellowship, be Board Certified in Neurosurgery and additional certification in pediatric neurosurgery by ABNS and ABPNS. Additionally, candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Indiana and possess a level of academic accomplishment commensurate with process qualifications for an IU faculty appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Professor. A track record of outstanding academic leadership experience and demonstrated accomplishment in fostering diverse healthy cultures known for their academic productivity across all missions is highly preferred.
