Job summary

MUSC Children's Health in Charleston seeks an accomplished academic pediatric neurologist to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Neurology. This is a rare opportunity to lead transformation of pediatric neuroscience across South Carolina and help build one of the premier programs in the Southeast.

The Chief will recruit and mentor faculty, expand clinical programs, strengthen education and research, and partner with hospital and college leadership to improve statewide access.

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Pediatric Neurology and eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
  • Academic leadership experience with faculty recruitment and program development.
  • Ability to advance clinical programs, education, and research in a major academic center.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Neurology and provide strategic, clinical, academic, and administrative leadership for the Division.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty and advanced practice providers across pediatric neurology and subspecialties.
  • Expand clinical programs, strengthen inpatient and ambulatory care, and improve statewide access.
