Indiana University School of Medicine—Pediatrics invites applications for Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Lead a large, nationally ranked division with multiple hospital sites, and contribute to clinical, educational, and research excellence in pediatric hospital medicine.

Qualifications

Doctorate or terminal degree required (MD, DO or MD-PhD).
BC or BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred.
Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical, educational, or research excellence in pediatric hospital medicine.
Progressive leadership experience in academic medicine.
Academic credentials appropriate for a appointment as Associate Professor or Professor (clinical-educator or tenure track).

Responsibilities

Advance the clinical, educational, and research capabilities of the Division.
Promote the academic careers of Pediatric Hospitalist faculty and fellows.
Direct ongoing delivery of state‑of‑the‑art pediatric hospitalist care to Indiana and the Midwest.
Champion team‑based, value‑based care through system development.
Provide leadership to support collaboration and growth of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program.
Strengthen development of the Pediatric Hospitalist Fellowship.
Promote and champion research, quality improvement, and clinical advances in the field.
