Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Florida seeks a Chief for the Division of Pediatric Surgery. The candidate will provide vision and leadership for development of the division, oversee pediatric general surgery, and report to the Chair of the Department of Surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree in medicine.
• Fellowship training and board certification in Pediatric Surgery.
• Leadership experience preferred; mid-career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to secure a Florida medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for development of the Division of Pediatric Surgery.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and accountability for education, research, clinical and administrative service missions.
• Oversee pediatric general surgery with local accountability to the Chair of the Department of Surgery.
• Collaborate across departments and residency programs to advance departmental goals.
