Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, seeks a Division Chief for Pediatric Surgery to provide strategic leadership for education, research, and clinical programs. The Chief will guide the division’s growth, oversee multidisciplinary care, and ensure top-tier patient outcomes for children.

The candidate will lead educational initiatives for residents, medical students, and APPs, while driving research and clinical service initiatives in a pediatric academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Fellowship training and board certification in Pediatric Surgery.
• Leadership experience preferred, mid-career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to secure a valid Florida medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for the Division of Pediatric Surgery at Nemours Children’s Hospital.
• Lead, supervise, and be accountable for education, research, clinical and administrative missions.
• Oversee operational responsibility for pediatric general surgery with local accountability to the Chair of the Department of Surgery.
• Commit to education of residents, medical students, and APPs and lead in multidisciplinary collaborations.
