Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks a dynamic Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine to provide vision and leadership for care delivery, education, and research. The role reports to the Chair of Pediatrics and collaborates across an award-winning pediatric system.

The successful candidate will have an MD/DO (or equivalent), PEM board certification, and a proven record for advancing clinical growth and scholarly activity, with a strong commitment to education and faculty development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent clinical doctoral degree and board certified in PEM.
• Academic record commensurate with appointment as Associate or full Professor.
• Eligible for licensure in Delaware; track record in clinical growth and research; commitment to education; administrative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and leadership to strengthen clinical operations of the Division of Emergency Medicine.
• Oversee fiscal stewardship and operational management.
• Advance the division's research and academic agenda.
• Recruit, retain, develop and mentor faculty.
• Support clinical training and education for interns, residents, and fellows.
