Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Delaware seeks a dynamic Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine to provide vision and leadership for care delivery, education, research, and advocacy within our 44-bed emergency department.

Candidates must hold an MD/DO (or equivalent), PEM board certification, be eligible for licensure in Delaware, and have an academic record appropriate for appointment at Associate or full Professor, with demonstrated administrative leadership and a commitment to education.

Qualifications

• MD/DO (or equivalent) degree and PEM board certification.
• Academic record appropriate for Associate or full Professor appointment.
• Proven administrative leadership and commitment to education.

Responsibilities

• Strategic vision and guidance to strengthen clinical operations.
• Fiscal stewardship and operational management.
• Enhancement of the division’s research and academic agenda.
• Recruitment, retention, development and mentorship of faculty.
• Support of clinical training and education for interns, residents, and fellows.
